Popular name for a part of central Bohemia. This area is more cold than other parts thanks to a group of 6 to 7 hundred metres high hills. You can find here still some „old times“ village looking like the time has stoped here. Nearby is one of the mythic hills of Czech tales – the Blaník with sleeping knights in it.
